Audiodrome licenses offer flexibility for a variety of creative projects, but certain restrictions apply to ensure proper use of the assets. Here’s a complete breakdown of the main limitations based on your license type:
Usage Across Multiple Channels
Commercial License: Allows you to share projects on multiple channels, such as YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook, without limit.
Personal License: Restricts sharing to one non-commercial channel per platform.
Example: If you create a video with a track under the Personal License, you can post it on one YouTube channel, one Instagram account, etc. For multiple channels, you’ll need the Commercial License.
Global Validity
All licenses are valid worldwide, allowing you to distribute projects across different countries without geographic restrictions.
Example: A video created for a global campaign can be distributed in any country without additional licensing fees.
License Duration
Once your project is published with downloaded assets, it’s covered for life under your current license, even if your membership expires.
Example: If you use a track in a commercial ad and later cancel your subscription, the ad remains covered under your original license.
Social Media Use
Personal License: Allows sharing only on one non-paid social media channel per platform.
Commercial License: Covers unlimited platforms and channels, including paid ads and branded content.
Business License: Extends permissions to include client work across all channels.
Example: With a Commercial License, you can promote a product using the same music track across multiple social media accounts and YouTube ads.
Client Work
Only the Business License covers client projects, providing full commercial rights and allowing you to share proof of licensing with clients.
Example: If you’re a freelancer creating videos for multiple clients, you’ll need the Business License to cover all client work legally.
Public Performance
Commercial License: Covers screenings in theaters and festivals.
Business License: Extends coverage to include TV broadcasts and other larger media.
Example: A Commercial License allows you to use tracks in a film screened at a festival, while a Business License is needed for TV or public broadcast use.
Music Modification
You are allowed to edit, cut, loop, or mix the music tracks to fit your project, but you don’t own the track—only the right to use it in your licensed project.
Example: You can edit a track to loop in the background of a video, but you can’t claim it as your own composition or resell it.
Resell or Share the Music
You may not sell, transfer, or share Audiodrome music files as standalone products, even if modified.
Example: Sharing the track on a file-sharing platform or including it as a downloadable asset is not allowed.
Competing Products
The assets cannot be included in any competing product like a music library, bundle, or stock music collection.
Example: You cannot add Audiodrome’s music to a collection of stock tracks for resale.
Claim Ownership
You may not claim Audiodrome music or any modified version of it as your own creation.
Example: Adding your brand name to the music file or calling it an original composition is not permitted.
Physical Media
Use on physical media, such as CDs, DVDs, or printed materials, requires prior written permission from Audiodrome.
Example: For a DVD project that includes Audiodrome music, contact support for approval.
Third-Party Resale
Distribution or licensing of the content to third parties is prohibited unless explicitly allowed in your agreement.
For example, selling a music track from Audiodrome as part of another product or licensing it to a third party is restricted.
Creating Logos or Trademarks
Audiodrome assets cannot be used to create logos, service marks, or trademarks.
Example: Using Audiodrome music in your brand logo animation or trademarking it as part of a company logo is not allowed.
Inappropriate Contexts
Audiodrome music cannot be used in illegal, defamatory, or inappropriate contexts, including but not limited to adult entertainment, content promoting harmful products, or any defamatory material.
Example: Using a track in content promoting illegal activities or adult entertainment would violate the licensing agreement.
By adhering to these restrictions, you ensure that your use of Audiodrome’s music aligns with the terms of your license. If you have questions about specific use cases, please reach out to our support team at admin@audiodrome.net.
