You bet! With Audiodrome’s Business license, you’re covered to use our assets in your videos displayed at trade shows or exhibitions. Our license doesn’t cover the use of our assets in pornography or excessively violent content. Audiodrome’s terms for proper use are designed for content that could be shown in public theaters or on broadcast networks accessible to general audiences. We don’t currently offer a license that covers both a school and its students under one plan. Each license is meant for a single user. However, if you’re looking for a plan to cover your school and students, feel free to reach out to our sales team for more information.

If a school subscribes to an individual Audiodrome plan, it provides coverage for one person’s projects created by and for the school. Personal projects won’t be covered.

Please note that Personal & Commercial licenses only cover personal projects shared on your own channels, but you can monetize your channel.

Can I use assets for purposes other than video?

Audiodrome’s license specifically covers the use of assets in projects mentioned in our license agreement. Since Audiodrome is designed for video marketing, assets can’t be used as standalone (audio-only) or without being part of a video or podcast.

That means you’re not allowed to use, record, perform, present, publicly play, copy, distribute, transfer, share, sell, or license the assets as standalone items in any way.

Can I post Audiodrome’s music by itself on my channel?

Our licenses don’t cover using our music or uploading videos with our music solely for listening purposes. Audiodrome’s music is meant to enhance your stories in video or podcast projects, not to be made available on its own.

Stand-alone uploads include complete or nearly complete tracks paired with a still image (e.g. artist and track name) or simple animations, part of a compilation video, or any use where the visuals or narratives are of secondary importance. Online radio usage also violates our terms and is considered stand-alone. As a result, we reserve the right to monetize any videos on YouTube or other platforms that feature stand-alone use of our music.

Can I use Audiodrome music for telephone hold music?

Sorry, but telephone-hold music isn’t covered by our license. Audiodrome is designed specifically for video creators. Our music can’t be used as a standalone audio without being part of a video. This means it’s not allowed to use, record, perform, present, publicly perform, copy, distribute, transfer, share, sell, or license the music on its own.

Can I have exclusive rights to the songs I download?

Unfortunately, no. All the songs in our catalog are available for every user on an equal basis. We don’t offer exclusive rights to any song. We’re all about creative freedom, so our license is non-exclusive, allowing any asset you use to be accessible and used by other creators as well. If you have a big project and our Commercial license doesn’t meet all your requirements, feel free to reach out to our sales team to discuss a custom solution.

Why did you get the claim?

Since my music is copyrighted, YouTube’s digital fingerprinting system, Content ID system, is informing you that your video contains copyrighted material.

What should I do if I receive a copyright claim on YouTube?

We sincerely apologize if you experience this issue. Rest assured, all our music is 100% copyright-clear, and using it with your purchased license is perfectly legal.

Unfortunately, false or mistaken copyright claims are common on YouTube. If you receive one, follow these steps to resolve it:

  1. Contest the Claim:
Don’t panic! There’s no need to remove your video or replace the music. YouTube won’t ban or penalize you. The copyright notification will eventually be dropped (it may take a few hours to several days). If monetization is activated on your video, any lost revenue will be restored from the day you contested the claim.
  2. Submit a Counter-Notification:
When YouTube asks for a reason, select “I have permission or a license to use the content claimed in my video”.
    • If you used our free music with credit, provide the download page link.
    • If you purchased a license, include your license certificate number and a link to the music page.
  3. Step-by-Step Guide:
    • In YouTube Studio, locate the video and select Copyright Claim (in the “Restrictions” column).
    • Click See Details.
    • In the pop-up window, under Actions, click Select Actions and choose Dispute.
    • Check the box that says “My dispute isn’t based on any reasons above…” and continue.
    • Select “License: I have permission or license to use the content claimed in my video”.
    • In the box, include the following:
      • “I used music from audiodrome.net with a purchased license. My license certificate number is [insert your certificate number], and the music I used is [insert music page link].”
  4. If You Haven’t Received a Claim Yet:
Send us the video link and your order number (found in your purchase confirmation email). We can whitelist your video in YouTube’s system, typically on the same day.

Please note that Audiodrome music cannot be uploaded to YouTube’s Content ID system. Doing so may cause copyright issues for others and violates our licensing terms.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact us!

How to Dispute/Clear Copyright Claims with Facebook (Meta) and Instagram?

When you purchase files from Audiodrome, you are granted a Royalty-Free License that allows for worldwide, perpetual use across all media platforms, including TikTok. However, TikTok currently doesn’t have a system for proactively providing your license before uploading your video. If you receive a copyright claim, follow these steps to dispute it:

Step-by-Step Guide to Dispute a Copyright Claim on TikTok:

Receive a Copyright Claim:
If TikTok raises a claim on your video, don’t worry. Since you have full rights to use the content, you can file a dispute.

Submit a Counter-Claim:
TikTok offers a Counter-Notification Form for you to challenge the claim. Here’s what to do:

  • Fill out the form with all the required information.
  • Under the section “Evidence to substantiate your appeal or counter-claim”, provide a copy of your Audiodrome license certificate.
  • Include a link to the music used in your video and clearly state that you have full rights to the track under Audiodrome’s royalty-free license.

European Union Users:
If you’re in the EU, you can also use copyrighted material under specific exceptions such as criticism, review, or parody, as long as it adheres to TikTok’s Community Guidelines. When submitting your counter-claim, you must still provide your Audiodrome license as proof of rights.

Resolution:
Once submitted, TikTok will review your dispute. In most cases, since you have proper rights to the content, the claim will be removed.
