Creating a design from scratch in Canva gives you full control over the dimensions and layout. Here’s how to do it:
Setting Custom Dimensions: #
Click the Create a Design button and select Custom Dimensions.
Enter the dimensions you want (pixels, inches, millimeters, or centimeters), then click Create New Design.
Using Templates and Customizing: #
Once your custom-sized canvas is ready, Canva will suggest templates that fit your dimensions.
You can choose a free template to add to your design or start with a blank canvas.
Customize the design by adding elements, text, backgrounds, or uploading content from your computer.
Adding and Managing Pages: #
To add a new page, click Add a Page and select a new template for that page.
You can copy an existing page to duplicate it or delete a page if you don’t need it.
View your pages in full screen or Fit to Page, and manage them with the Page Manager for easier navigation.
Saving and Exiting: #
When you’re satisfied with the design, click Save.
Exit the Page Manager by clicking the button to return to your main canvas.
