Recording audio directly within the platform is a simple process that enables you to create transcriptions effortlessly. Follow these steps to successfully record audio, generate a transcript, and create new content:
Step 1: Create a New Project #
- Navigate to the Create New Project page.
- Enter a name for your project to keep it organized. For example, “Test Recording.”
Step 2: Start Recording #
- Click on the Start Recording button to begin capturing audio.
- Speak clearly into your microphone while the system records your audio.
Step 3: Stop Recording #
When you’re done recording, click on the Stop button.
Important: Do not click on “Proceed to Next Step” before stopping the recording, as this will result in losing the audio.
Step 4: Proceed to Transcription #
- After stopping the recording, click on the Proceed to Next Step button.
- The platform will prepare the audio file (e.g., MP3 format) and automatically start generating a transcription.
Step 5: Review and Use the Transcription #
- Once the transcription is ready, review the text for accuracy.
- Use the transcription to create new content, such as articles, scripts, or posts.
Bonus Tip: Transcribe External Audio #
You can also transcribe audio recorded elsewhere. For example, play an audio file near your computer’s microphone and record it directly using the platform. This allows you to generate transcripts from various audio sources quickly.
