Licenses

Royalty-Free Music License for Creators and Businesses

Buy an Audiodrome track or collection once and use the licensed music in permitted commercial, monetized, advertising, podcast, and client Projects.

Your license is worldwide and perpetual while you follow the agreement. It covers unlimited permitted Projects and gives you a signed record of your music rights.

The central rule is simple: The finished Project can travel. The raw track cannot.

Your Audiodrome License at a Glance

With your Audiodrome purchase, you get:

A one-time license with no subscription

Worldwide coverage

A perpetual term while you comply with the agreement

Unlimited permitted Projects

Commercial, monetized, and paid-advertising use

Client work through the free Client-Use License Agreement process

No Audiodrome share of your Project revenue

MP3 and WAV files

A signed License Agreement sent to your purchase email

The music must remain embedded in the finished Project. The license does not transfer ownership of the track or allow the raw music files to be redistributed.

How Audiodrome Licensing Works

1. Purchase the track or collection

The person or business that selects, downloads, and uses the music should complete the purchase.

The purchase creates the main Audiodrome License Agreement between Audiodrome and the Buyer.

2. Receive the music and signed agreement

Audiodrome sends the MP3 and WAV download links to the purchase email after checkout.

The Buyer also receives a signed License Agreement covering the purchased tracks. Keep this document with the Project records.

3. Create the finished Project

Embed the licensed music in a finished Project such as a:

  • Video
  • Advertisement
  • Podcast episode
  • Video podcast
  • Livestream
  • Presentation
  • Online course
  • Website experience
  • App
  • Game
  • Virtual reality experience
  • Event production
  • Business phone-system message

You may trim, loop, fade, adjust the timing, and combine the track with video, voice-over, dialogue, graphics, animation, or other Project elements.

4. Complete the Client-Use process when working for a client

Before delivering a client Project, request a free Client-Use License Agreement from Audiodrome.

Audiodrome prepares and sends the agreement within one working day after receiving the complete Project information.

One Client-Use License Agreement may cover the identified versions of the same client Project or campaign, including:

  • Landscape, square, and vertical versions
  • Short and extended edits
  • Platform-specific exports
  • Language variations
  • Organic publishing versions
  • Paid-advertising versions
  • Website and presentation versions
  • Other named format or distribution variations

The agreement must identify the same client, underlying Project or campaign, licensed Audiodrome tracks, and intended versions or uses.

5. Deliver and publish the finished Project

Give the client:

  • The finished Project versions
  • The Client-Use License Agreement issued by Audiodrome

The client may publish, advertise, and distribute the identified finished Project versions through the uses covered by that agreement.

The client does not receive the raw track or stems as a reusable music file.

The Finished Project Can Travel but the Raw Track Cannot

Audiodrome licenses the use of music as part of a finished Project.

The Project may move between formats, platforms, channels, and client accounts when the use follows the main License Agreement and the Client-Use process where applicable.

The underlying music remains an Audiodrome asset. Purchasing the license gives you permission to use the music. It does not transfer ownership of the track.

You may:

  • Synchronize the music with video, images, animation, or motion graphics
  • Place the music under voice-over, dialogue, interviews, or podcast speech
  • Trim, loop, fade, or adjust the track to fit the Project
  • Create multiple permitted Projects
  • Export platform-specific versions
  • Publish commercial and non-commercial Projects
  • Monetize permitted Projects
  • Use the music in permitted paid advertising
  • Deliver finished client Projects after completing the Client-Use process
  • Manufacture physical copies of a finished Project when the music remains inseparable from that Project

You may not:

  • Sell, share, gift, or redistribute the raw track
  • Give a client the MP3, WAV, or stems for future reuse
  • Upload the track as a standalone music release
  • Release the track through Spotify, Apple Music, or another music service as your song
  • Sell or include the track in a competing music library
  • Place the track in a stock pack, template pack, or downloadable asset
  • Make the music available in a form that allows extraction
  • Transfer, assign, or sublicense the main license
  • Claim that you created or own the music
  • Create and sell a new composition based on the track
  • Use the music to create a logo, trademark, or service mark
  • Use the track for music-only playback unless the agreement expressly permits the specific use

Paid Advertising and Monetized Content Are Included

Audiodrome music may be used in permitted advertisements, promotional videos, branded content, sponsored content, and monetized Projects.

Audiodrome does not claim a portion of the revenue you earn from compliant use of the licensed track inside the finished Project.

Your eligibility for a platform monetization program, advertising product, or distribution feature remains subject to that platform’s current rules.

Use these guides for the full requirements:

Review the Paid Advertising Licensing guide and Monetized Content Licensing guide to confirm how Audiodrome music may be used in paid campaigns, sponsored content, promotional Projects and revenue-generating Projects.

Client Work Includes Documented Client Publishing Rights

Agencies, freelancers, video editors, marketers, and production teams may use Audiodrome music to create finished Projects for clients.

The Buyer must request the free Client-Use License Agreement before delivering the finished files. Audiodrome issues the agreement directly, so the Buyer does not sublicense the music.

The Client-Use License Agreement gives the named client permission to publish, advertise, and distribute the identified finished Project versions. It does not give the client ownership of the music or unrestricted permission to reuse the track in unrelated content.

Audiodrome prepares the Client-Use License Agreement within one working day after receiving complete Project information.

Review the Client Work Licensing guide to understand the client-use licensing process before delivering a finished Project.

Your Music License and Platform Rules Work Together

The Audiodrome License Agreement gives you permission to use the purchased music within the permitted Project.

Each platform controls its own:

  • Account requirements
  • Upload procedures
  • Advertising products
  • Monetization programs
  • Audio-recognition systems
  • Content-review processes
  • Dispute procedures
  • Format and publishing rules

A platform may identify music even when the uploader holds a valid license. A match or claim starts a rights-verification process. It does not, by itself, determine that the Project is unlicensed.

Keep your signed Audiodrome License Agreement and any applicable Client-Use License Agreement available as proof of permission.

Review the guide for Cross-Platform Use to understand how Project versions, accounts, channels, and publishing platforms are covered.

What to Do if a Platform Identifies the Music

If a platform flags your Project:

  1. Confirm the track

Check that the music identified by the platform matches the track listed in your Audiodrome purchase.

  2. Confirm that the Project follows the license

Make sure the track remains embedded in the finished Project and that the use falls within the permitted scope.

For client Projects, confirm that the Client-Use License Agreement was issued before delivery.

  3. Retrieve your signed agreement

Locate the Audiodrome License Agreement sent to your purchase email.

Use the agreement as evidence that you have permission to use the identified track in the Project.

  4. Follow the platform’s response process

Respond through the platform using the option that applies to licensed content or permission from the rights holder.

Provide the requested license details accurately.

  5. Contact Audiodrome when support is required

    Send Audiodrome:

    • Your purchase email
    • The Project or content URL
    • The name of the licensed track
    • A screenshot or reference number for the claim
    • The timecode of the identified music
    • The applicable Client-Use License Agreement for client work

Audiodrome will review the information and assist with the license-verification process.

Your Signed License Documentation

Every purchase includes a signed Audiodrome License Agreement sent to the Buyer’s purchase email.

The agreement identifies:

  • Audiodrome LLC as the Seller
  • The Buyer
  • The purchase email
  • The licensed tracks
  • The granted rights
  • The permitted uses
  • The restrictions
  • The applicable legal terms

Keep the agreement with the invoice, Project records, published URLs, and client documents.

For client work, keep both:

  1. The main Audiodrome License Agreement
  2. The Project-specific Client-Use License Agreement

Important Requirements Outside the Music License

Audiodrome controls the rights granted under its License Agreement. Other parties may still have separate responsibilities.

For example, a venue, broadcaster, or organization may operate under public-performance licences or other industry requirements. Responsibility for applicable venue or broadcaster obligations rests with the party publicly performing or broadcasting the Project.

Platforms may also apply their own advertising, account, format, monetization, and distribution rules.

Contact Audiodrome before using a track in a way that is not clearly covered by the License Agreement.
