Prohibited Uses Under Music Licensing Agreements

While Audiodrome gives you a lot of freedom, there are some limitations to ensure fair use and copyright protection. Here’s what’s not allowed:

  • Resell, share, gift, or redistribute the raw music file as a standalone product
  • Upload the track as a standalone music release or soundtrack-only album
  • Bundle the track into a competing music library, stock pack, or template product
  • Make the track available in a way that allows others to download/extract it
  • Claim authorship or ownership of the music, even if you edited it
  • Use the music to create a logo, trademark, or service mark
  • Music-only playback is not included

Mechanical Reproduction & Public Performance

Your Audiodrome license grants you rights to:

  • Your license allows the music to be reproduced and distributed as part of your Project, including digital distribution and physical copies of the Project where the music remains embedded.
  • For public performance: some venues, broadcasters, and organizations operate under blanket public performance licensing through PROs. If a venue, broadcaster, or platform requests documentation, provide your signed Audiodrome agreement and follow their compliance workflow.

If you or your clients are approached by a PRO or any other entity, you are required to comply with these requests.

What to Do if You Get a Copyright Claim

If a platform flags your Project:

  • Confirm the track used matches your Audiodrome purchase.
  • Download your signed agreement from your purchase email.
  • Dispute or respond through the platform using your license documentation.
  • If you need help from Audiodrome, send: your purchase email, the content link, the claim reference/screenshot, and the timecode of the claimed segment.

Your Signed Agreement

Every purchase includes a signed agreement tied to your purchase email. Keep it as your proof of permission for platforms, clients, and distributors.
